So i finally got around to downloading the new iChat & Photobooth Effects. Here’s some of the ones i liked…I’m an idiot. Haha.

I decided to do something short and easy : / Next one will be more interesting!!! And yes, I didn’t say anything about my iPod nano 1st gen. I figured that it wasn’t worth doing. One of the great things about iMovie HD is that it has great video FX that you cannot get in the newest iMovie ‘09. iMovie HD fully supports plugins such as extra transitions and effects, this is very useful as iMovie ‘08 doesn’t support them at all, iMovie ‘09 currently has no available plugins through it has potential to support them. iMovie HD: nk11r10-homepage.mac.com (If the iDisk’s owner takes down the file I will re-upload it to a different location.) Lets say you just got you Mac, and say you “discovered” this phun program called Photo Booth. You spend every day for a week taking pictures using this coolio effects. A week after that your bored stiff, all those darn effects are boring!! You want more effects? Applez Got ‘Em! Video Content: This demonstration video highlights 12 webcam effects you can use in Photobooth on a Mac. I look at several effects from each of the four pages in Photobooth that comes with Leopard. I used Photobooth and my Isight camera to create the 12 clips, imported them into Imovie08 and uploaded using the Youtube Share feature. Content Area and Learners: In each of my online high school courses I have posted an instructional video called Video Essays using Youtube Quick Capture. That video teaches students how to create a Video Essay that they can use to replace written essays in any of my Social Studies courses. This instructional tool is an addendum to that video which is designed to help students liven up their vlogs (video essays). Instructional Objectives: To teach learners different webcam effects in Photobooto that they can use when creating their own Video Essay.

These were the times before I had discovered After Effects, and After Effects was like version 6.0. This does not represent my knowledge and skills at present time. I filmed a bunch of stuff with my friends in front of a greenscreen. This is the result after four days of editing.
A lot more comfortable this time around utilizing the After Effects program. This video has more tutorials I worked on to learn more features of the program and there are a kazillion of them. I’ll probably put together a couple more of these before I start to thinking about piecing together short introductory films. As you can see the effects are not as polished as they should be so that’s my goal right now – keep learning and make them look better.
