The choice of the background screen colors depends on the background photograph which you want to create. A person can either select blue or green color for the background. For instance, a photographer wants to place the subject in the midst of green fields. In this case, you should use green color background. This technique helps in masking the background of the subject accurately. Green or blue shades are commonly used as they do not match with the human skin tone and the image sensors in the camera are sensitive to these two shades. After photographing the subject you can collect the footage for the background screen. You can then digitally replace the background with an editing tool. A person can also add transitions and other visual effects in the images or video digitally. You can make the subject invisible, dwarf the subject or even make the subject climb a tall chamber or hill. This technique is commonly used in the television stations, documentaries, films, promotional videos and much more.
